Published materials of the conference «Unequal World: Challenges for a Global Social Science».

Three volumes of Facing an Unequal World: Challenges for a Global Sociology, edited by Michael Burawoy (UC-Berkeley), Mau-kuei Chang (Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica), and Michelle Fei-yu Hsieh (Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica ) are now available for general release. They consist of papers originally presented at a conference of National (Sociological) Associations, March 23-25, 2009 in Taipei. It was sponsored by the International Sociological Association and hosted by the Taiwanese Sociological Association and the Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica, one of the leading centers for scientific research in Asia.
